Clean the glass surface with detergent or specialized cleaning agent to remove oil stains and impurities.

2、 Core steps of laser engraving

Choose a suitable laser engraving machine, adjust the laser power (recommended to be lower than the glass melting temperature, such as below 800W) and accuracy (300dpi).
For complex shapes such as hemispherical glass, a long focusing wavelength (such as 2.5 inches) is required to ensure the engraving range.

Design carved patterns using CAD software or draw directly on a laser engraving machine.
By adjusting the laser path and speed, fine carving can be achieved.
Execute carving：
Fix the glass on the workbench and turn on the laser engraving machine for tracing.
Adopting a layered carving strategy, first carving shallow contours and then gradually deepening them.

3、 Laser engraving post-processing
Surface cleaning：
Wipe the glass surface with a damp cloth to remove laser residue and dust.
For fine carving, a soft bristled brush can be used to gently clean.
Surface treatment (optional)：
Frost effect: After laser engraving, micro cracks will form on the surface of the glass, and the frost effect can be obtained by natural air drying.
Matte effect: Apply detergent water to the laser engraving area, wrap the glass with newspaper or napkin for sandblasting, and create a frosted texture.
Coloring: After carving, acrylic pigment can be used for surface coloring.

Safety protection: Laser engraving involves high-energy lasers and requires wearing protective glasses and clothing.
Equipment maintenance: Regularly clean the laser lens and mechanical components to ensure engraving accuracy.
