What is SSB and DSB Glass?

The glass industry uses some odd terminology.
SSB Glass means Single Strength glass which is 1/16" glass.
DSB glass means Double Strength glass, which is 1/8 glass.
But the strange thing is SSB is actuall 3/32" thick and DSB is actually 0.125 (nominally) thick.
