What are the main types of architectural glass

With the advancement of technology, glass is no longer a single lighting material. Architectural glass has become a fashionable and innovative decorative material, widely used in our lives. Architectural glass not only has the function of lighting, but also has the functions of noise prevention and temperature regulation.

The main types of architectural glass are:
1、 Flat glass
Flat glass, also known as white sheet glass or clear sheet glass, is a flat glass that has not undergone any other processing. According to different production methods, it can be divided into ordinary flat glass and float glass. Both ordinary flat glass and float glass are flat glass. Just different in production process and quality. Flat glass is a widely produced and used type of architectural glass, mainly used for doors and windows; As long as it has functions such as lighting, enclosure, insulation, and sound insulation, it is also the original sheet for further processing into other technical glass.
2、 Safety glass
Safety glass refers to glass that has high mechanical strength and strong impact resistance compared to ordinary glass. Its main varieties include tempered glass, laminated glass, laminated glass, and titanium glass. When safety glass is shattered, its fragments will not harm people and have anti-theft and fireproof functions.
1. Tempered glass, also known as strengthened glass. When subjected to significant external forces, this type of glass will break into small particles and will not form large areas of broken pieces that can cause harm to people.
2. Wire glass, also known as shatter resistant glass or steel wire glass. It is produced by the rolling method, which involves pressing preheated steel wire or wire mesh into the middle of glass in a molten state, followed by annealing and cutting.
3. Laminated glass is a composite glass product with a flat or curved surface formed by heating and pressing PVB resin film between two or more original glass sheets. The original sheet used for laminated glass can be ordinary flat glass, float glass, tempered glass, colored glass, heat absorbing glass or heat reflecting glass, etc.
4. Titanium glass, also known as unbreakable iron foil film glass. It is a new type of glass that combines titanium foil film tightly onto any type of glass substrate to form a cohesive whole. Titanium glass has high crush resistance, high heat resistance, and UV protection functions.
3、 Energy saving glass
With the increasing demand for thermal insulation of doors and windows, energy-saving glass is a type of glass that can meet this requirement and integrate energy-saving and decorative properties. Energy saving decorative glass typically has pleasing exterior colors and special abilities to absorb, transmit, and reflect light and heat. When used for exterior glass curtain walls of buildings, it can achieve significant energy-saving effects.
1. Heat absorbing glass is a flat glass that can absorb a large amount of infrared radiation and maintain a high visible light transmittance. There are two main types of heat absorbing glass: one is to add a certain amount of heat absorbing coloring agent to the raw materials of ordinary sodium calcium silicate glass; Another method is to spray one or more layers of metal or metal oxide thin films on the surface of flat glass. 2. Heat reflective glass is a flat glass with high heat reflection ability and good transparency. It is formed by coating the surface of the glass with metal or metal oxide films such as gold, silver, copper, aluminum, chromium, nickel, and iron, or by using electric float plasma exchange method to replace the original ions on the surface of the glass with metal ions to form a heat reflective film.
3. Low radiation glass is a film product composed of multiple layers of metal or other compounds coated on the surface of glass. Its coating layer
