Ultra white float glass and ultra white rolled glass
1、 Ultra white float glass
Ultra white float glass is easy to form and has high production efficiency. It has the advantages of low cost and high processing yield, and is suitable for producing large-sized, uniform thickness and easy adjustment. It is currently the most mature flat glass forming process, mainly used in thin film batteries, architectural glass and automotive glass.
Floatation is currently the main process for producing flat glass, and its process flow mainly includes: raw material preparation → mixing and batching → melting → tin bath forming → annealing → edge bending → slicing → taking pieces → packaging.
After the raw materials are fed and melted in the kiln, the mixture is melted into a uniform, bubble free glass liquid at a temperature of about 1600 ℃. After clarification, homogenization, and cooling, the glass liquid flows into the tin bath through a flow channel and floats on the surface of the tin liquid with relatively high density. Under the combined action of gravity and surface tension, the glass liquid spreads and flattens on the surface of the tin liquid to form a glass ribbon. The glass ribbon is cooled and hardened, and under the action of the transition roller platform pulling roller, it is pulled out of the tin bath and enters the annealing kiln. The annealed glass is cut into raw pieces.

2、 Ultra white rolled glass (ultra white embossed glass)
Ultra white rolled glass is a high-quality glass material with high transparency and excellent photoelectric conversion efficiency, and the glass iron content is only 1/10 or even less of ordinary glass. In addition, the self explosion rate of ultra white rolled glass is much lower than that of ordinary glass, greatly enhancing its safety performance. It is mainly used for cover or back glass in the photovoltaic module industry.
Rolling method is the use of a rolling machine to shape the glass liquid coming out of the melting furnace, followed by annealing and cutting to obtain rolled raw glass sheets. It is a mainstream product of photovoltaic glass. Due to the high investment and manufacturing difficulty of ultra white rolled glass production lines, as well as the high requirements for raw material accuracy, the preparation cost is relatively high, making it suitable for producing glass of fixed size and thickness.
The process of preparing ultra white embossed glass raw sheets by rolling method mainly includes feeding → melting → rolling forming → annealing → cooling → cutting → taking pieces → packaging.
After entering the glass furnace, the ingredients are melted and made into glass liquid. The glass liquid enters the cooling section and forming pool through the flow hole, and after cooling to a temperature suitable for rolling and forming viscosity, it enters the rolling machine composed of a highly smooth upper roller and a lower roller with finely carved patterns through the overflow port to be pressed into embossed glass strips. The embossed glass strips are then annealed in the annealing kiln and cut into the specified size after cooling.
