What is laminated glass?

Laminated glass is an advanced safety glass made by sandwiched PVB film between two or more layers of flat glass (or hot bent glass) and subjected to high pressure. It has characteristics such as transparency, high mechanical strength, UV protection, heat insulation, sound insulation, bulletproof, and explosion-proof.
The advantages of laminated glass
Excellent sound insulation performance: Generally, the middle layer material of laminated glass in buildings uses PVB interlayer, and the PVB membrane has the damping function of filtering sound waves (reducing the vibration amplitude of sound to reduce volume transmission). Therefore, if you live in a place with severe road noise, choose a laminated glass with a PVB film thickness of 1.14 mm.
Natural UV protection ability: PVB interlayer also has the function of filtering ultraviolet rays. Data shows that PVB film can absorb more than 99% of ultraviolet rays, thereby protecting indoor furniture, plastic products, textiles, carpets, artworks, from fading and aging caused by UV radiation.
Good energy-saving performance: Because laminated glass made of PVB film can effectively reduce sunlight penetration, the darker the color and the lower the light transmittance, the stronger the ability of laminated glass to block heat.
